RE: IDS on NT feasability

Willem We have a couple of small sites running IDS on NT. My impression is that you need more horsepower to run IDS on NT than for Unix (it runs slower because of the NT limitations). Our NT boxes are very reliable but we only run IDS on these - absolutely nothing else - plus they are configured with more mamory than being used (NT again). Personally I would be loathed to try something that size, but I think it would depend upon what sort of hardware you intend to use and what sort of performance you expect. Do you know of similar sized installations in the world, and which is the recommended version of Informix to use.
