Hi all, =20 I 'm testing newest release of 9.40, it is release fc7 I installed in a separated directory of my actual version (9.40fc3) I brought instance down and then I changed INFORMIXDIR and PATH variables to point to this new release. =20 I brought system up and no messages comes out in online.log =20 But when I tried to execute a Stored Procedure it brought down the whole instance. Error -640 comes out ( QPlan sanity failure line-number. Running UPDATE STATISTICS might fix this internal error. If the error recurs, please note all circumstances and contact Technical Support at tsmail@us.ibm.com.) Then I run update statistics and... guess what? Instance went down again. Aditionally, I dropped all Stored Procedures and than I created all of them again, but error comes out again. =20 I haven't saw this before, does any anyone have already installed this release? Any tips? At the end, Does someone recommend to use FC6? =20 Regards =20 =20 =20 ---------------------------------------------- P. Why don't you try to export with 9.4.fc3 and then import to 9.4.fc7. Obviously you will need space for this. I found what takes instance down... We are using LIST data type in our SPs and when we use it in a FOREACH Sentence in WHERE condition, It works in FC3, but in FC7 it doesn't work. More specific, we use LIST datatypes and we cast them to tables in this WHERE condition Here is our example code: ... FROM customer cust WHERE cust.OID_Cliente = pCustomer AND cust.oid_payment NOT IN (SELECT FROM TABLE(pAdeudosExistentes) ) ... -----Mensaje original----- De: Jean Sagi [mailto:jeansagi@myrealbox.com] Enviado el: Miércoles, 10 de Agosto de 2005 09:40 a.m. Para: rafaelpadilla@mayanresorts.com.mx CC: ids@iiug.org Asunto: Re: installing 9.40.FC7 [5594] Why don't you try to export with 9.4.fc3 and then import to 9.4.fc7.
