Is there anybody who knows the reason and the cure for this problem: I've installed informix On-Line on two machines RS-6000 IBM. In one of this machines everything is fine, but in the other machine, the tbinit daemon, responsible for the access to the shared memory, dies frequently, rendering the system unusable. I restart the informix On-Line, but sometimes the deamon dies inmediately. Other frequent problem that I have is that suddenly the On-Line shutdowns by itself, leaving the shared memory inaccesible. And finally, sometimes I get the following message while I'm running an application or using the isql: "Cannot read systables" or "Cannot access system catalogue" or others by the way. What's going on? Thanks in advance. Alfonso Trevino I.T.E.S.M. P.S.: I'd be glad of receiving the answers to my questions in the following addresses: alfonso@mtecv2.mty.itesm.mx or atrevino@servinf.mty.itesm.mx
