Hi! All, I use ERwin 3.5.2. I want to create table schemas from an Informix for importation to an Oracle database. Does anyone know how I can convert serial columns to number columns in ERwin? Presumably, you've already reengineered your Informix database into ERwin. All you have to do is change your target server to the Oracle version that you want. ERwin changes Informix-SERIAL to Oracle-ROWID. If you insist on Serial being changed to NUMBER, you could get it by reaching Oracle via Sybase. That is, first make your target server Sybase, then switch it to Oracle. Statutory Warning : Informix is the one! We cannot be held responsible for the consequences of migrating to any other DB.
