I know of no implementations of a fully inverted database. > - Non-relational Database Technologies Raima Technologies - dbRaima/dbVista database libraries and servers implement a Network Database Topology on top of which they have mapped Relational SQL queries. The underlying network topology database is still accessible through a lower level API. Faircom Corp. - Ctree, Informix CISAM, and other ISAMish, Indexed Sequential Access Method database libraries and server are indexed flat files over which, like RAIMA, a Relational shell can/has been constructed. Also similar to Raima the lower level is accessible as an API. Pick Systems - Universe is a database based on the Pick OS's built in database. This is a direct access Hierarchical Topology database. Again a Relational veneer is layered over it but the Pick Level database is accessible. Art S. Kagel
