Please do not post HTML. Memory resident tables are a 7.30 feature and so is also supported in IDS.2000 (IDS V9.20). The syntax is: SET <TABLE|INDEX> <table or index name> [(dbspace list)] TO RESIDENT; This is in the Guide to SQL Syntax which is available online at the Informix WEB Site under <Documentation>. You can also download the file for local reference. Art S. Kagel
