This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0004_01C05332.C597BD20 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi Folks With only still about 1 year to go we are now entering a stage in which we have to be able to display (print) 2 currency symbols at the same screen / report. As DBMONEY supports only 1 symbol, there is a problem. Has anybody already find out a way to tackle this problem? Thanks ------=_NextPart_000_0004_01C05332.C597BD20 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.50.4134.100" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Hi Folks</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>With only still about 1 year to go we = are now=20 entering a stage in which we have to be able to display (print) 2 = currency=20 symbols at the same screen / report.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>As DBMONEY supports only 1 symbol, = there is a=20 problem.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Has anybody already find out a way to = tackle this=20 problem?</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Thanks</FONT> </DIV></BODY></HTML> ------=_NextPart_000_0004_01C05332.C597BD20--

Use DECIMAL columns instead of MONEY columns. I gave up on MONEY in about 1987, when I first had to deal with multiple currencies in a single application. -- Yours, Jonathan Leffler (Jonathan.Leffler@Informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h> Guardian of DBD::Informix v1.00.PC1 -- http://www.perl.com/CPAN "I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it!"
