Hi.
I am trying to move a 7.31 TC4 from NT4 to W2K
I did a fresh installation of 7.31 on W2K, and copied all database-files
from the old server.
I also moved the onconfig file.
The server starts OK, I can access all data from DBACCESS, and it seem to
log as expected, BUT !!
ONSTAT does not work
The response is:
C:\\Informix\\bin>ONSTAT
*** WARNING: Informix Dynamic Server is no longer running. ***
*** WARNING: Informix Dynamic Server is no longer running. ***
ONSTAT /? works OK - It seems, that onstat does not "see" the database
I cannot figure out what to try now. :-/
The environment variables is the same as the old system, except the
servername has changed - but all references, as i can find the point
correctly to the new server.
Any help is much appreciated!

Hi Morten,
you should upgrade to 7.31.TD5, that works correctly
with W2000. Earlier versions have the described problem
because of the M$ hotfix Q328310.
You may preliminarily work around by using onstat -i
which gives you an interactive onstat session.
