Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
This is excellent. I have been wondering for months what is happening with
Informix, and the lack of any communication at all from the UKIUG committee
(dig, dig!!) has left me rather dubious. This is the first positive message
about the future of IDS, other than the usual 'don't worry, it'll all be OK
in the end' I've heard.
It actually does mean something to me! A big vote of thanks to Andrew for
this.
Cheers,
Pete

The UK IUG, like many volunteer groups, suffers from a lack of active
helpers at times.
We all have real jobs to do too.
I personally have been so busy I haven't even had time to reply to the many
mails you've sent asking how *you* can help to get another event
up-and-running ....
Now now, Neil, your sarcasm is showing, and even the americans might
understand that one :-)
regards
Malcolm
