Informix Server TIME different from NT Servers (daylight savings)

Hi All, I've just noticed on our Informix servers that the times are NOT in sync with the server it is running on. We use Windows NT4 SP6 for our servers. The Informix versions are IDS 7.31 TC5 and IDS 7.30 TC9 (both 'for Workgroups' editions). We are in New Zealand and last Saturday night 'daylight savings' came into effect. This advanced our clocks one hour for the summer months. Windows NT automatically adjusted its time to match. The Informix instances running on these servers have NOT adjusted - they still have the old time. I can see this if I insert rows in a table with a datetime column inserted using the CURRENT keyword, or similarly from a 4gl program using an insert with the CURRENT keyword. Or even via the ISM Inventory of log backups to tape. They all report a time one hour out of sync! Does anyone know what I have to do to line up the Informix time to the system time to take care of daylight savings adjustments? Can it be set to adjust automatically like Windows does when daylight savings happen? - it happens twice a year after all. Thanks for any help or insight into the problem. Regards, Bryce Stenberg. If USEOSTIME is set in the ONCONFIG file Informix requests the system date and time whenever it needs to display or return a DATE or DATETIME set to TODAY or CURRENT. Otherwise it gets the system time periodically (no I do not know how often) and interpolates in between. Art S.
