IDS 9.20 FC2
I'm using HPL to re-build a table. In the past, on v7.x, I've found setting
PSORT_NPROCS to (say) 24 has helped with iindex builds. In fact, the v7.3
manual specifically counsels against this.
Anyway, I've tried export PSORT_NPROCS in the session with which i'm
starting HPL, but it doesn't seem to make any differnence t HPL's index
builds.
Also, I can't use a shared-memory connection. Presumably because HPL's
32-bit?

ipload gets me a -25572 consistently within 9.21.fc2. I hade to drop
back to 9.21.uc2 to get it to run.
Release notes say that shm connections are not supported by ipload.
