HELP!! w/ usage of datetime in ace reports....

I'm trying to use a datetime variable in an ace report on SQL(4.0) w/ a 5.0 SE. The report compiles OK but when I run it and enter the time values (the datetime variables have a range of Hour-to-minute), the system gives me error -1263. The explaination of error messages given in the Informix documentation does not help much. What am I doing wrong? can anybody help me????? :-( regards amr malik
