Performance Tweaking
I have an HP9000-800 series D270 two way running HPUX 11.0 and Informix 7.3 Dynamic Server. I also have 1 Gig of memory installed, 3x 600 meg swapspaces, 100000 BUFFERS, 63 LRUs, NUMCPUVP=2, SINGLE_CPU_VP = 0, and MULTIPROCESSOR=1 assigned in onconf.cars. My Bufwaits Ratio (BWR) is 20.0198 % and should be under 10%. Our load average is fairly high as well (around 4 all day). onstat -u remove idle cleaners then add 4 and use that value for cleaners
