Which statements reflect your opinion of Windows/NT relative to UNIX? 88 NT is fine for work group applications, but Unix is more appropriate for departmental and enterprise applications 75 NT will eventually be as scalable as Unix across multiple hardware platforms 62 The cost advantage of NT will make it a compelling operating system over time 117 Application availability for NT will be the key factor that draws users over time; NT likely to dominate in three to five years 118 The common application programming interfaces (APIs) between Windows/NT and Windows 3.1 represent are a strong attraction for developers 128 The proven reliability and robustness of Unix outweigh the benefit of a single standard like Windows 13 My organization is leaning toward NT because it simplifies our IT architecture 96 Recent efforts by Unix vendors to standardize APIs will stifle the impact of NT 6.
