Dynamic Linking of Apache & Webdriver Module

Ciao my friends, I cannot run configure with Apache and WebDriver module, in order to link them statically. Is it possible to skip this problem and load it as a dynamic module <on the fly>, during httpd's execution. Indeed, into INFORMIXDIR/extend/web.4.00.UC1/apache/apache_1.3.6 I have an explode.so file. What are the steps I have to 'walk'? Thanks -Gabriele P.S: I have Apache 1.3.9 on a RedHat 6.1, with IDS 9.20 UC1, Client SDK 2.40 UC1 and Web.4.00.UC1
