Hello, we're trying to install informix 7.30 TC3 on Windows NT Terminal Server service pack 4.0 but are having a few problems. The install completes successfully but the Informix Dynamic server message service does not start. We get the following Error: Error 0002: The system could not find the file specified The Informix Enterprise Command center also fails with the following message: server discovery failed Can anyone help? Thanks in advance Peter Kersting Brandt Computer Systems peterk@4js.co.uk

He did lose the ability to use IECC from the host to the data base on the host, but that's probably an install order problem. He had to do a few reboots to get everything set up, but all is OK now. To use SP4, you need 7.3 TC7. You must also make sure that IDS is installed after SP4. -- Bashar Chalabi CTL, London Peter Deed wrote in message <37807D9A.8BBC8B8B@brandt.co.uk>... >Hello, > >we're trying to install informix 7.30 TC3 on Windows NT Terminal Server >service pack 4.0 but are having a few problems. > >The install completes successfully but the Informix Dynamic server >message service does not start.
