Crontab job bombs

Crontab job bombs (sounds like some terrorist ploy, eh?) Simply stated, I run an informix job to generate our Class Schedule listings for our Gopher server. It runs fine from a terminal. It bombs when run from a cron entry. The statement bombing in both instances is a plain isql statement; DELETE in the first case, SELECT in the second. I had this bug a year ago and thought I'd fixed it with the proper environment variables, and by making sure my compilations were up to the latest versions (a system upgrade produced this same bug once.)
