Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Marc,
Ontape is probably using information from the reserved pages.
Archive information is at the end of "oncheck -pr".
However, "onstat -g arc" provides detailed information by dbspace.
I do not know where this information is stored.

Subject: ontape -s level 1 fails
Hi,
I have made backups of level 0 with ontape -s and then select the 0
option.
Now i want to make level 1 backups.
But it fails because it says: "no level 0 backup made", but i did this
already...
Does anyone know how ontape "remembers" so that i can make level 1
backups
again?
This problem started after a informix update... (not by me!)
Thanks,
Marc Groeneveld.
