All electioned out?

Maybe you're ecstatic, or in despair, at the likely outcome of the United States presidential and representative elections. However, much more importantly .... Nominations remain open for the election for the 2005 term to the Board of Directors of the International Informix Users Group (IIUG). Several nominations have already been received, but please do consider carefully standing for election to the Board yourself. There are full details of the election process, my own personal view of my time as a Board member, and a Nominee Questionnaire, at http://www.iiug.org/iiug/election/election.html Nominations remain open until 10th November. If there are any questions at all about the election process, please don't hesitate to mail us at elections@iiug.org. If you'd like some advice on what's it's like to be a board member, feel free to call (remember, I'm in the GMT time zone!) or email me.
