I found a few ways do it (I think that method ?3 - optimal). 1) to use system view SYSTRANS (but this view has information about your transactions if you did INSERT, UPDATE or DELETE)...:( 2) to use a temp table (or permanent table) for registering that transaction began and commited (or rollback). 3) to use following model during the development of procedures: -------------------------------------------- create procedure define flag int; begin on exception let flag = 0; end exception; begin work; let flag = 1; end; ....... if flag = 1 then commit; end if; end procedure; -------------------------------------------- -- Sauron
