RE: ISA problem

When you configure ISA, you need to establish at least 4 environment variables for each Informix instance which is running on that host system. Below is an example from our shop: INFORMIXSERVER dwp INFORMIXDIR /informix/product ONCONFIG onconfig.$INFORMIXSERVER INFORMIXSQLHOSTS $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts.soc END INFORMIXSERVER txp INFORMIXDIR /informix/product ONCONFIG onconfig.$INFORMIXSERVER INFORMIXSQLHOSTS $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts.soc END Rick Bernstein ALARIS Medical Systems, Inc. -----Original Message----- From: Sergio L'pez [mailto:sergiol@iteso.mx] Sent: Monday, September 18, 2000 11:51 To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: ISA problem Hi: I just installed ISA (version 1.20) but I'm not sure if it's rightfully installed or if I need to do any further configuration. Once I click into Use ISA, I get a list of the available servers (I already modified the file clicking on "Configure"), it appears as if they were all Off-line, which is not ttrue. Furthermore, if I click the On-line button (inside the mode section) I get an error message about initialization. Could anybody tell what are the steps (if any) for further configuration?
