Size of Log files
Hi Guys,
I would like somebody to give me an insight as to why
informix displays the size of the log file as half of
what i had defined in onconfig file.
for eg.
onstat -l shows me size of the log file as 50000 KBwhen i had defined it as 100000 KB in onconfig file.

ontape output is in pages. For Unix page size = 2K.

I belive because the 'onstat -l' command displays information in page
increments, not in K. If your system has 2K pages, then this would
explain what you are seeing. Hope this helps.
