I don't remember SOS well but on most UNIXes the command is 'swapon' to dynamically add swap partitions. Just prepare a disk partition somewhere and run: swapon <devicepath> or add the swap device to /etc/fstabs and run: swapon -a Art S. Long term, the best bet is to use divvy to expand the swap area but this will probably require a reinstall of the OS (or the use of a third party backup/crash recovery product such as Lone-TAR/Arbag - highly recommended anyway!) If you cannot expand the swap area, you may add a non-contiguous partition using swap -a again but be aware that if your primary swap area is smaller than your RAM size, you will not get a dump in the event of a kernel panic. (I know SCO allows dump partitions but if you have that much extra disk space to burn you shouldn't have any problem coming up with a single swap partition large enough.)
