I would join sysmaster:sysptnhdr to sysmaster:systabnames and use
nptotal-npused from sysptnhdr.

P.S. as always I make the assumption the sysmaster of the version you
work on is the same as the one I work on. I have found a couple
occasions where this is incorrect.
