Need termcap info

Hello all, I am trying to work through a problem where several systems have been upgraded from 6.x tools to 7.21 and the terminal display has changed even tho the $TERMCAP and $TERM are the same. This is happening on the Dec systems. An sample configuration is a Dec Alpha running O/S 4.0d, Engine 7.31.UC2 and Tools 7.20.UD6. $TERM=vt220 and the vt220 part of the $TERMCAP file is at the end of this message. The behavior with the 6.x tools was a blinking block cursor on the display fields. Since the upgrade, the display is a blinking block cursor on a reverse video field. The users are not used to the field "blacking out" and they are whining..... I cannot seem to find any information in the Informix or UNIX manuals that I have about what all of the variables are in the $TERMCAP file and how to determine the appropriate values. Any thoughts or pointers to documentation will be greatly appreciated. TIA!
