The first thing a full restore does is copy the 12 reserved pages from the
archive tape into your rootdbs. This means that the system being restored
will be IDENTICAL to the one that was archived. One of three things will
happen if you do this restore:
1. It will fail because it will try to open a link that doesn't exist on
this box (/dev/online_dbs2 would probably be the first one that would be
hit)
2. It will find a device link with that name and error out because it isn't
big enough when it tries to write out a particular page
3. It will over write whatever is on that device.
Actually, #1 would be your best hope. Definitely not worth trying, unless
you can arrange devices with the right names and right sizes.
In that case, it would work, but the instance that is there now would be
gone, of course. since the root chunk would be overwritten.
