Howdy,
I am installing my 7.31.UC5 upgrade and have a question about the memory. I
see a message about rounding the memory up, which is find with me, but does
anyone know which onconfig parameter this is using?
OS: SCO 5.0.4 on 4/way Intel box
online.log: (partial)
10:27:58 Requested shared memory segment size rounded from 1616KB to 4096KB
$ onstat -c

On some OS's Informix rounds shared memory segments requests up to the system memory page size for efficiency and sometimes because the OS will allocate that only full pages anyway. Art S.
