Better Backup Solution

Is any one using the IBM ADSM backup product to backup their AIX servers and backing their Informix Online db incidents? How about Netbackup from Veritas, or other products? (We probably would like to stay with an IBM solution if possible, but are open to evaluate other options that are affordable and are reliable, and flexible to work with). We want to add a automated tape solution to our IBM S80 AIX server sometime later on this year. Thanks for any input in advance :-) Dave McNight Unix/Informix Sys Admin
We are currently using OnBar/ADSM, but I am planning on changing ASAP. WHY? 1) ADSM is no longer (or won't be much longer) supported and has been replaced by Tivoli Storage Manager. 2) We are upgrading to HP-UX 11, 64-bit, by mid-year and TSM will not have a 64-bit client until 1Q2001, but possibly in December. I'm looking at Veritas, Legato and seeking other solutions also.
