Hi All ! Again a question of lock management !! How can I see which behaviour has my instance on lock management : lock wait, lock not wait ? I have run some tests so I suppose that default IDS configuration is 'not wait' ?... I run IDS 7.31 TC2 on NT4 SP5. Hi Arnaud, not wait is the default behaviour. Your Application must issue a "set lock mode to ..." for a diffrent behavior. Please look at the Manual for a detailed description of set lock mode Command. Thomas Arnaud ANDRIEUX wrote: > > Hi All ! > > Again a question of lock management !! The lock mode is set at the session level, defaulting (AFAIK) to NOT WAIT.
To see the actual settings of connected sessions, run "onstat -g sql".
