Hi,
I have a IDS 7.30 on solaris. I will transfer a import a datadase from
NT environment. Which size shall I create for the dbspace for my
database ?
Thanks

Do remember, that page size on NT is 4k instead of 2k on Unix. So, I
think you can increase your dbspaces at 10%. For complete calculations
and precise picture of your database issue
oncheck -pT table_name
for each big table and determine row size and number of rows. Calculate
how much rows fills the page, and how much free space lefts on every
page. Than add size of your indexes plus some space for growth ( if
your data is growing ). For more detailed comments you can send us
output, generated by oncheck.

Good question,
it depends on what You will do afterwards with the data.
On NT use onstat -d an You will see the minimum size You will need to import
Your data.
