Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Go to your windows directory. Look in a file called "services". Get your
Informix Administrator to set up a port number for your DB connection.
Suppose this new port number is 1700. Then, enter a line in the "services"
file that reads something like:
dname 1700/tcp
Also... make certain the last line of your services file is blank.
