This is a typical result of the Oracle marketing machine: smoke and mirrors, vaporware, we do it all, we're first to market, etc. It's why most CEOs seem to think that Oracle is the only answer. It never ceases to amaze me that every inane Oracle press release gets picked up by the trade rags. I'm hoping that the new regime at Informix will find some way to get the word out there!
