RE: onstat(1) options, which one?

IMHO buffers, locks and transactions are initial guess, short term tuning,
then forgotten until an issue arises.
Locks: Configure sufficient for your application - know the data and
application.
Buffers: Tune with read cache, buffer waits, cleaning, read aheads together
with the memory available in the computer.
Transactions: Number of users, plus know the application.
