Hi All, Does anybody out there know of any tools that actually measures how long a SQL statement executes. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Don
Don, if you want detailed analysis of statement execution you should look into I-Spy: http://www.informix.com/informix/products/tools/ispy/index.html . The techical doc says it only supports IDS-7.2, 7.3, and 8.x What versions (1.0, 1.01, 2.0) of I-Spy will support IDS-9.2x ? Jonathan Leffler's sqlcmd has a benchmark option that times every command. Get it from the IIUG Software Repository. Art S.
