Help:NT Cli to connect unix IDS failure!
When I use Informix Cli 2.5 TD2 on WINDOWS NT 4 Serverics Pack 4
to connect IDS7.23 on SCO UNIX Openserver 5.0.5,
I get an error message like this:
-931:Cannot locate sqlexec service/tcp service in /etc/services.
My informix server is IDS7.23 on SCO UNIX Openserver 5.0.5.
In my ONCONFIG file,
DBSERVERNAME online7
DBSERVERALIAS online7_net
NETTYPE ipcshm,1,10,CPU
NETTYPE tlitcp,1,20,NET
sqlhosts: online7 onipcshm account on_shm
online7_net ontlitcp account1 sqlexec
In /etc/hosts
192.1.1.133 account account1
In /etc/services,I add the flowing line:
sqlexec 3070/tcp
My Client is Informix Cli 2.50 TD2 on windows NT4 Services Pack 4
Use setnet32 to config :
In Server Information:
Informix Server:online7_net
HostName : account1
ProtocolName: onsoctcp
ServicesName: sqlexec
In Host Information:
Current Host: account1
User Name: myname
Password option:Password
Password: mypasswd
Environment:
INFORMIXDIR=D:\\informix
INFORMIXSERVER=online7_net
C:\\WINNT\\system32\\drivers\\etc\\services
sqlexec 3070/tcp
C:\\WINNT\\system32\\drivers\\etc\\hosts
192.1.1.133 account1
Where is my mistake?
