I had test this program deeply.
I have two box :
A box: ids10.FC5 4gl 7.32.FC2
B box : ids7.31.FD2 4gl 7.20.UD7
If the remote server is A box , compiling will failed.
For example :
$ cat test.4gl
database db1
main
define q record like db2@remote:systables.*end
db1 = B box (ids 7.3)
db2 = A box (ids10)
error list here:
| The symbol "db2@remote:systables" is not the name of a table in
the
| specified database.
| See error number -4320.
All of the 4gl program used to run OK on B box until migrating to A
box.
There are a lot of program embedded these kind of commands, It's
tough to modify to synonym table.
Anyone occurred this before ?
How should I solve this ?
Any help will be appreciated!
