Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

The "onstat -l" displays the log files in terms of
pages not KB. Since your platform has a 2K page size,
the "onstat -l" is reporting that log files consist
of 5,000 pages (or 5,000 * 2K) or 10,000 KB.
The same logic applies to output from the "onstat -d"
command.

Subject: Size of Log files
Hi Guys,
I would like somebody to give me an insight as to why
informix displays the size of the log file as half of
what i had defined in onconfig file.
for eg.
onstat -l shows me size of the log file as 50000 KBwhen i had defined it as 100000 KB in onconfig file.
Thanks
Anil K
