Hi all, Well. We have recently updated our VB5.0/RDO 2.0 based client programs. The client programs talk to our Unix based Informix Server 7.31 through Intersolve 3.01 and Informix CLI 7.23. It seems that the rowlocking works fine on this Informix server. But the customer has got a Win NT based Informix Server (ver. ???). Can we somehow make sure, that our client programs does rowlocking at the Win NT to ? And hopefully NOT pagelocking. (We're setting up a NT Server in a test enviroment right now, but just in case...) Regards, Ebbe

You need to install a Client SDK or an Informix Connect that matches you service pack. And no, the client has no control over row or page level locking. Nona
