Shared memory initialization error

Hi guys,
I was having some problems with my Informix OWS 7.2
So I shut it down like any dumb DBA would do, and now I can't bring it back
up!!!
I can bring it back up in quesient mode, but whenever I give the oninit
command it gives the following error:
"oninit: Fatal error in shared memory initialization"
Here's the tail of my online.log.
16:11:01 Event alarms enabled. ALARMPROG =
'/disk12/informix/etc/log_full.sh'
16:11:05 DR: DRAUTO is 0 (Off)
16:11:06 Assert Failed: Page Check Error in initchunk
16:11:06 Who: Session(1, informix@jupiter, 0, 170713112)
Thread(7, main_loop(), a2ac018, 1)
16:11:06 Results: Possible inconsistencies in '(null)'
16:11:06 See Also: /tmp/af.7f669, shmem.7f669.0
16:11:12 INFORMIX-OnLine Stopped.
16:11:12 mt_shm_remove: WARNING: may not have removed all/correct segments
Also, just before I shut it down, I checked my onstat -d and I got the
status as "Online (CKPT REQ)"
Now, what could that be? I'm guessing it's something to do with Checkpoints
but that's as far as I can get.

When your engine offline run 'oncheck -cr'. For more advices please post
'oninit -v', configuration and af.###### file, named in online.log
