You should change back LOGFILES to the actual number of log you have. run onstat -l if you are not sure.
LOGFILES will be updated automatically by onparams utility.
The parameter you must change is LOGSMAX, if you need 30 log change it to 40 just to be on the safe side.

Hello,
I've installed informix from scratch and need move logical logs from
rootdbs to llogsbds, I've created at initilazition stage 3 llogs in
rootdbs.. Now I'm editing onconfig and changed LOGFILES 3 to 30.
typing:
onparams -a -d llogdbs_1_1 -s 3412
and got this error:
Exceeding the maximum number of logical logs allowed.
Could you help me?...
