Hi u all,
In the output section of an ace report we defined the following output
section:
output report to "/tmp/npdump"
end
Our question is as follows:
is there a possibility to create an output section to variable like
"$home/npdump"?
So al output will be dumped in the user's home directory??
Thanks for all suggestions

output to pipe "cat > $HOME/npdump"
should work.

ACE will write to the current directory if no path is specified. If your
users are in their home directories when they run the report,
report to "npdump"
should put the output file in their home.
