I am trying to connect to an SE 7.2 database on HPUX 10.20
from a windows client.
My problem is that I can't start the sqlexed daemon on the server. When I
run the command $INFORMIXDIR/lib/sqlexecd csi I get the
message:
2000-01-14 11:30:01.820524 daemon err = -25592: Communications service not
supported by network driver.
In /etc/services I have:
sesocket 6001/tcp
In $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts I have added:
csi setlitcp csi sesocket
I have also tried sesoctcp and seipcpip in place of setlitcp with no
success. Can anyone suggest a solution?
Many thanks

try the following:
csi sesoctcp csi sesocket
Probably your HP does not support TLI connections.
