Dear Informix Gurus,
We have successfully gotten I-Connect to run on a Windows 95 machine
connecting to Informix 7.14. On Windows 95, the C:\\windows\\services file
contains an entry with the service name from $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts (the
entry is: istardev 1001/tcp # I-Star for the Informix Engine). However,
when we tried to load I-Connect on NT 4.0, we couldn't find a
winnt/services file. How is this service specified on NT 4.0? Would this
entry, wherever it is to go solve our Informix error -931 message?
Thanks, Thad

The services file for NT is:
winnt\\system32\\drivers\\etc\\services
Intuitive, isn't it. (Also, you can put a raw port number in for service)
