I'm using the Informix Enterprise Command Center for the first time. Running IDS 7.30 on a HP9000/K360/4 we often have more than 80 - 90 Client-Connections to the DB-Server. In the IECC "Events" of my Database server I get the message: "(Type) Maximum Sessions (Details) Capacity is 36 (Severity) Critical... As actually there are very few connections to the database I'm a bit worried about the categorization "critical" (with only 36 open connections) Are there any parameters in the $ONCONFIG-File, which determine the maximum number of open connections (I've just often adjusted some of the more important parameters in the $ONCONFIG-File, but I've never seen something that has to do with this kind of matter)? Every useful hint/information will greatly be appreciated thanks tomi -- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Thomas Stainer Open IT Informationsmanagement Gmbh&CoKG Schönaugasse 64 A-8010 Graz, Austria ---------------------------------------------------------------- phone +43-316-875-3045 fax +43-316-875-3034 email thomas.stainer@open-it.at web http://www.open-it.at ----------------------------------------------------------------
Das Maximum der zul'ssigen Sitzungen mu' im IECC bei den "events" entsprechend erh'ht werden. Im IECC events markieren; rechte Maustaste; dann Eigenschaften (es erscheint dann ein entsprechendes Auswahlmen').
