Fragmenting Indexes

Normally, tables in DSS queries have no or very few indices since the data is typically read sequentially. When an index is used to retrieve the data then there can be some benefit from fragmenting the index.

• If the table is fragmented by round robin then fragment the index by expression or place the index in a separate dbspace (with no fragmentaion)
