Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Thomas Timmermann asked for a good book, ideally German, for learning SPL stored procedures. Stefan Weideneder replied in German suggesting the SQL Syntax Guide and the two-day Informix course T271 as sufficient. Wolfgang Zager recommended an Informix Press book by Gonzales that shows interesting SPL work. Answered with suggestions.

Hi,
Wie wäre es mit dem SQL-Syntax Giude ? Der sollte
ausreichen, um SPL vollständig zu verstehen.
Zudem gibt es den 2-Tages Kurs T271 bei Informix. Sehr
viel mehr kann man zu Stored Procedures nicht sagen.
Bis dann
