Informix & Winsock

I have had no response from comp.databases.informix so hopefully someone out there with the same configuration can help. Running Inet Version 5.01 works great through windows. Using this and Q+E does everything correctly. However, trying to run Informix 4GL for Windows, I keep getting an Informix -834 error message which the documentation says "The backend is busy".
