It most likely is occurring during an insert or update. The error is telling you that you are inserting (or updating) a date field with an integer value, (which is fine, in and of itself), but that in the instance where the error is generated, the integer is out of range (-693,594 to 2,958,464). Check your inserts and updates to find one that is manipulating a date column using an integer variable. There may be other tricks to finding this problem, (such as adding line numbers or cursor descriptions to the errors generated) but I don't know 4gl well enough to be much help, there.
