Level 0 archive error

Hi, I have been trying to perform a level 0 archive and received the following error: ARC-E-01846, Error received from Informix server while processing archive or backup. IFMX-E-API, buc_fe.c : Archive API processing failed at line 248 Archive request 00000015 failed. I have performed a level 0 archive previously and not received this error. Now if I try to do it again I get the following: ARC-E-01846, Error received from Informix server while processing archive or bac kup. IFMX-E-API, Another archive is already in progress on DBspace rootdbs. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it? Thanks Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

Which product are you using to do the archive? If OnArchive --- only one solution --- DON'T!!!!!!! Yes, I am using onarchive. I will be setting up the backups using ontape, but in the meantime, I still need to resolve this problem. A couple of things. 1. What version are you on? 2. What platform are you on? 3. What utility are you using to backup the sytem. My guess on #3 is onarchive, but that is just a guess. If you are currently trying to use onarchive, I would suggest going to ontape. You will be able to find a lot more help on this newsgroup for ontape problems than you would for onarchive.
