Informix Monitoring: ER Status

Tracks whether the ER is online or not.

This test is always run as a pre-cursor to all other ER tests, if the ER is offline then all other tests are skipped.

Informix Monitoring: Queue Lengths

By tracking the queue lengths it is possible to spot issues early, such as unstable comms, an unusual load etc. As most ER systems always have inflight data then under normal conditions the queues would be populated, but if cdr has been suspended the queue would be empty and an alert raised. If replication is normally from Server A to Server B and there is a misconfiguration then a queue from Server B to Server A would be an issue and an alert raised.
